Every minute a truck waits costs you money. SlotTruck virtually eliminates waiting times, saving you thousands in monthly detention charges.
Level Your Workload
Stop the ‘Monday Morning Peak.’ Force carriers to spread appointments evenly throughout the day based on your labor availability
Automate Coordination
Cut admin time by 80%. Carriers book their own slots via a web portal. No more endless email chains or phone tag.
Let Carriers Book Themselves.
Give your carriers and suppliers a branded portal to view your availability and book slots 24/7. They get certainty; you get a finalized schedule before the shift starts.
Don't Just Book Space. Book Capacity.
A dock door isn’t enough if you don’t have the staff. SlotTruck limits bookings based on your real constraints: fork-lift availability, labor shifts, and load types (e.g., ‘Only 2 Pallet trucks per hour’).
Live Control Tower.
See exactly what is happening at your gates right now. Track status changes in real-time: Checked-In, At Dock, Loading, Completed, Departed.

SlotTruck Implementation FAQ
Common questions about deployment, carrier onboarding, and dock rules.
Who is responsible for booking the time slots?
You have full control. You can either let carriers and suppliers book their own slots via the Self-Service Portal (based on your pre-set capacity rules), or your internal dispatch team can book slots manually. Most clients shift 90% of bookings to the self-service model to save admin time.
What happens if a truck arrives late?
SlotTruck provides real-time visibility. If a truck misses its slot, the system flags it as “Late.” You can configure rules to either automatically release the slot for someone else or flag the truck for “Standby” status, ensuring it doesn’t disrupt the next scheduled appointment.
How long does it take to deploy SlotTruck?
Do carriers need to install an app?
No. The Carrier Portal is browser-based and mobile-responsive. They receive a secure link via email to book their slot—no app store download or complex login required.
Does it handle both Inbound and Outbound?
Yes. You can manage separate schedules for receiving (inbound raw materials/returns) and shipping (outbound finished goods/RTP), ensuring your staging areas never get overcrowded.
